Another Kolkata Morning Photo Walk

In A Row!!!

We had another photo walk on last Saturday. As we got down from train at Howrah station, we crossed the Howrah bridge and started our morning. We roamed around the ghats of Ganges, we explored the Flower market, we had good experience of Kolkata in the morning and yes, we went to Kumartuli again that day. My new Kumartuli photos will be coming on a seperate post. For now enjoy the Kolkata morning photos. Do let me know what you like in them. . . . → Read More: Another Kolkata Morning Photo Walk

A Village Named Antoroi

Looks | A Tribal Woman

Yes, I have been planning for this weekend trip for a long time. But I could not make time for it. Finally I managed to visit the place. Antoroi is a remote village and is the native place of our cook. It’s in the border of Orissa and West Bengal and you won’t find any traces of this place anywhere is internet or google maps :) . I must say here that I love rural area. A few days off to such places is really a bliss and a very good way of getting refreshed and refueled for our regular life. . . . → Read More: A Village Named Antoroi

After the short visit to the temple premises, we moved to the nearby beach, locally known as Chandrabhaga beach. . . . → Read More: Konark and Chandrabhaga Beach

Flower Shower

Buddy

After the hectic shooting at Vintage Car Rally, we went to Alipore Horticultural Society, where there was a Flower Exhibition going on. Although I didn’t have a good lens for those flowers, bees and butterflies (I only have one 18-105mm 3.5-5.6 kit lens), this is the modest output of that day. I also tried a few shots with Tumpa’s 80-200mm 2.8 master piece lens, but it was too heavy to easily operate for the first time. . . . → Read More: Flower Shower
